our story
After working for several years as an attorney and a real estate agent, Nick Griswold was tired of pushing papers. He was looking for a career change that would allow him to create something tangible and lasting. With this in mind and drawing on years of experience as a rental property owner, Nick and his wife Michelle started Royal Builders in Jackson, Wisconsin in 2002 with one goal, to build high quality homes that would last for generations to come.
Several years later, in 2007, Stan Kubicek joined Royal Builders, bringing with him over 30 years of rough and finish carpentry experience. At the same time the business expanded to include residential remodeling. Since then Royal Builders has proudly helped countless families create beautiful homes.
